Robert Bradicich was drafted into the Army in March of 1943 from Brooklyn, New York at the age of 18. He completed basic training in Camp Blanding, in Florida, and was assigned to the 28th division, known as the Keystone division. He served in England and in the invasion of Normandy, then in Germany. He was discharged at the end of the war.
