Interview with Henyard Grover Faulk

Henyard Faulk served in the US Navy during WWII. He was sworn into the Navy in Raleigh, North Carolina on September 5, 1941. He went to boot camp at Norfolk, Virginia and was eventually assigned to the Aircraft Carrier Yorktown. He participated in campaigns in the South Pacific and the Philippines. He was also present at Tokyo Bay during the signing of the surrender of the Japanese military forces. In 1948, Faulk received his Navy discharge while stationed at Shoemaker, California. He later had a military career in the US Army.
